About Me

I am an organisational development and learning specialist with over 25 years' experience of working in professional training and development in the public, not for profit and voluntary sectors. I have held senior roles in the NHS, Higher Education, National Relate, and Action for Children. In addition I have directed my own Coaching and Organisational Consultancy since 2010, and I am an accredited and experienced coach. I specialise in helping people to cope with the challenges they face in bringing about sustainable change.

I have an MA in Adult Education and qualifications in Coaching, Organisational Consulting and Creative and Therapeutic Writing. My coaching approach is open and intuitive, and I am passionate about making a difference. I'm a writer and poet and use writing and creative arts in my work along with mindfulness and appreciative inquiry techniques. I am a member of the Association for Coaching and bound by their Global Code of Ethics. I'm also a member of the Association for Scottish Businesswomen and I hold professional indemnity insurance for my work.

In addition I work as a volunteer organisational development consultant for the Cranfield Trust, which provides free organisational consultancy for a diverse range of charitable projects that need help going forward. Most recently my main focus has been on working with charitable groups for women, especially trustees.
