About Me

I am an organisational development and learning specialist, with considerable experience of working in both academic and professional training and development in the public, not for profit and voluntary sectors.  I have held senior roles in the NHS, Higher Education, National Relate, and Action for Children.  I have directed my own Coaching and Organisational Consultancy since 2010, and I am an accredited and experienced coach.  I specialise in helping people to cope with the challenges they face in bringing about sustainable change.

I have an MA in Adult Education and qualifications in Coaching, Organisational Consulting and Creative and Therapeutic Writing.  My coaching approach is open and intuitive, and I am passionate about making a difference.  I am a writer and poet and use writing and creative arts in my work along with mindfulness and appreciative inquiry techniques.  I am a member of the Association for Coaching and bound by their Global Code of Ethics.  I am also a member of the Association for Scottish Businesswomen and I hold professional indemnity insurance for my work.

From time to time I work with the Cranfield Trust as one of their volunteer OD consultants.  The Trust provides free organisational consultancy for a diverse range of charitable projects that need help going forward.  Most recently my main focus has been on working with charitable groups for women, especially trustees.

Coaching Services

Are you:

At a crossroads either personally or professionally and looking for direction?

Working so hard to meet everyone else’s needs that you are neglecting your own?

A busy professional who wants time to refocus and re-evaluate?

Competent, yet lacking in confidence?

Feeling that there must be more to life than this?

If so, then individual coaching could help you to put your life back into perspective.

What is Coaching?

The aim of coaching is to help you to determine and achieve your personal goals.  It is a one-to-one relationship with a qualified and experienced coach practitioner.

Coaching can be the key step to making fundamental changes in your personal or professional life. By helping you to focus on achieving your personal or professional goals, coaching will help you to move forward and take charge of your life in a satisfying and inspiring way.

But coaching is not advice giving - to be effective coaching relies on the knowledge that you are the best expert on your own life and circumstances.  At Integra Coaching all coaching conversations are supportive, non-directive and confidential.

How does the coaching process work?

We will begin with an initial, free conversation over the phone where we will clarify your objectives and determine whether coaching is the right approach for you at this time.  Subsequent sessions can be face-to-face, by telephone or Skype, or on one of our retreats.

Client Testimonials

"It's such a relief to be able to talk about oneself without feeling guilty.  And it really does help in working out a way forward: your questions and comments are exactly the right balance of tough and supportive.  As so often, I just needed a bit of nudging to get to the conclusion I'd already come to; but I wouldn't have done it on my own."

Susanna D

"Lesley has an excellent empathic style of shadow coaching . . .  she observed two meetings in which I either presented or was asked to lead.  She gave me honest and constructive feedback, so helping me to make further  presentations with increased confidence.  You know that she has your best interests at heart in coaching - you trust her and that is why her so coaching is so effective.  Lesley also observed my team leadership approach.  Her feedback at the end of the session was useful not only to help my performance . . . but also offered me ways in which I can help my deputies to develop."

David B

"Lesley worked with the South Warwickshire Foundation Trust delivering clinical leadership development programmes on behalf of Warwick University Medical School.   She subsequently helped to deliver some management development training for some of our clinical staff.  During the time Lesley worked with the Trust she was always friendly, approachable, and flexible whilst delivering first class training and development to both our medical and clinical staff."
